I started my coaching practice because I want students to have an easier time finding their way than I did.
As a coach, I help high school and college students navigate big transitions and decisions about school, career, and life.
My own path out of high school and through college wasn’t straightforward. I always excelled in school, graduating in the top 3% of my high school class and summa cum laude from UCLA, but I struggled to figure out what I wanted for myself outside the classroom. I didn’t know what I wanted my life to look like, personally or professionally, so I applied to colleges almost at random, changed majors multiple times, took a gap year to travel after college, and then struggled for years to find work that felt meaningful.
As a student, I consistently felt lost and unsure about the future because I never found the personalized support l needed. My high school counselor didn’t have the time to give me individualized advice, and my parents didn’t know how to guide me through college or job applications. As an undergrad at UCLA, I tried to piece together guidance from an academic advisor, a therapist, a career counselor, and the occasional kind TA, but I never found a mentor or supporter that saw me for my whole self and consequently I struggled to find my way.
I want students to have an easier time finding their way than I did — that’s why I started my coaching practice.
As a coach, I take a holistic and compassionate approach to helping students navigate transitions and big decisions about school, career, and life. I know from my own experience, and from working with hundreds of students at public and private colleges, that there is no one-size-fits-all playbook to figuring out what’s next — that’s why I take an individualized approach and tailor every coaching session specifically to your needs. I believe every student deserves the space and support to discover what truly matters to them, and the confidence to take the next step toward it.
Whether you’re choosing a major, learning to balance competing commitments, or exploring meaningful work beyond college, I can help you take the next step with clarity, purpose and confidence.
I’m based in San Francisco and work with students across the U.S.
